He grew up in Brick, New Jersey. He played hockey at Brick Memorial High School for 4 year starter as their goalie. Played goalie for the Toms River blackhawks and Brick hockey clubs.
Dr. Damon P. Noonan, D.C and his wife Danielle who is a high school French teacher enjoy walking their Australian cattle dog named Scarlett at the dog parks on the beach. They enjoy the New Jersey shore beaches, surfing, paddle boarding, traveling, and exploring and trying new things.
Dr. Frank Sommerer was born in Philadelphia PA and grew up in a small suburb called Willow Grove.
He graduated from Widener University in Chester, PA with degrees in both Management and Economics. While serving as his class Senator to the student body, he was awarded the Outstanding Service Award to his graduating class. At Widener, he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, and played Varsity Lacrosse, Rugby and was captain of the Ice Hockey team.
Dr. Sommerer received his doctorate in Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC.
Dr. Sommerer is the clinical director of Shore Pointe Chiropractic in Toms River and has been in private practice for 30 years. He has served as team Chiropractic Physician for the Lakewood BlueClaws, the minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies since their inception.He also as team Chiropractor for the Toms River East baseball program as well as a number of area high school and recreational teams and organizations.
His professional associations include being an active member in the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors Sports Injury Council,and past president and treasurer of the Monmouth Ocean County Chiropractic Society. He has overseen chiropractic care for the Ocean County Senior Olympics and area track and field events.
Civically the doctor is a member of the Seaside Italian American Club. Frank serves on the board of directors for Ocean Of Love, for children with cancer.
He resides in Toms River with his wife and three sons, and enjoys boating, fishing and coaching youth soccer and Little League baseball.
